Weekly Events

  • Wednesdays at 7:30 am: Yoga for Organizers
  • Join us weekly on Wednesday mornings for Yoga For Organizers. Arizona has seen more anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced this session than any other state in the country. As we head into pivotal midterm elections later this year, it’s important for us as organizers and advocates to have the tools we need to master stress and bring our best selves to the movement.

In answer to Arizona’s new student athlete ban, Equality Arizona is launching a new program to provide an inclusive space for sports and exercise, with the mantra: queer people fit. On May 19, join us at Tempe Beach Park for a cycling tour around Tempe Town Lake.

America is in a moment of heightened urgency to pass federal legislation to protect the civil liberties of our LGBTQ+ communities. We believe we have just two months left to pass comprehensive non-discrimination protections in Congress, and with the bipartisan Equality and Fairness for All Americans framework, we believe we can muster the votes to accomplish that. Leaks from the Supreme Court make it clear that without formal legislation, we won’t be able to rely on previous victories that have enshrined privacy and marriage equality as constitutional rights. On May 28, volunteer with Equality Arizona to support bipartisan federal legislation to codify marriage equality, ban conversion therapy, and extend non-discrimination protections to LGBTQ+ Americans.
